Toronto’s Hottest 90s Rock Cover Band GEN-X is here to help fan the flames of your nostalgia with their high-energy live show. With a female vocalist means GEN-X can blast out a wide range of songs by all kinds of artists. One-hit wonders you forgot you loved and big timeless favorite’s make up a collection of rock, alternative, pop-punk and grunge jams that will leave crowds dancing, and singing along, for up to 3 hours of performance time.
Set lists are tailored to each event but always performed to ear-pleasing perfection. They can include everything from Kings of Leon, Foo fighters, and The Killers (yes, some early 2000s tunes are peppered in) from Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine. Electric or Acoustic sets are available.
With something for everyone, GEN-X will absolutely appeal to your existing patrons as well as draw in anyone who might hear their old favorite mixtape song as they’re passing by. A good time is guaranteed for all who find themselves in the presence of this party band.

Gen-X has been fortunate enough to be among the first bands to play the newly renovated Gladstone House, followed by a monthly residency there.
GEN-X has performed on multiple dates for Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland the last two years. Highlight venues played include The Legendary Horse Shoe Tavern, The Rivoli, Bovine Sex Club, The Linsmore Tavern, Rock the Boat Cruise, The Cat’s Cradle, Baby G’s, The Rec Room(Toronto) and have performed at the former: Radio, Black Pearl, Junction City Music Hall, Tiger Bar, Cherry Cola’s & The Cavern bars. Multiple festival appearances: Open Doors Toronto, The Danforth East Arts Fair (last 2 years) Leslieville Wanderlust, Aurora Winter Festival at Ontario Place and three consecutive appearances at Open Tuning Festival.
